Tony's funeral service will be held at 11.30am, on Friday 22nd September 2023.

We will meet at Maple Park Crematorium in Skipton On Swale (YO7 4SA). After a service to celebrate Tony's life, we will have a hot and cold buffet lunch, enjoy a drink or two and share memories at the nearby King's Arms Pub at Sandhutton (YO7 4RW). If you are travelling that morning, and arrive at the crematorium early, there is a cafe available serving tea, coffee and light snacks for those who would like them.

Tony wasn’t the type for suits and ties, so please wear something you feel comfortable in. Smart/casual is perfect, and there is no need for sombre colours either.

There are plenty of nearby places to stay if you prefer - you can try the Premier Inn at Sowerby (5 minutes away) or Solberge Hall at Newby Wiske (10 mins from the crematorium). If you are looking for a really special stay, there is always Swinton Park in Masham, which is about 15 minutes away.

North Yorkshire is beautiful and there is plenty to see and explore should you wish to do so.
